How To Join
Perhaps the most important thing that the Society has to offer members is the opportunity to network and learn from other professionals in the field. In addition, the SCBWI also offers all members:
• The Bulletin: a bi-monthly newsletter of helpful articles and market information.
• Publications: Members have access to publications on book and magazine markets, educational markets, small presses, agents, grants, how to start a critique group and much, much more. Many of these publications can be downloaded by members and all are available for the cost of postage.
• Roster of all SCBWI members.
• Information on Work in Progress and other grants.
• Conferences, Workshops and Retreats, which members from all regions can attend at discounted rates.
Non-members are welcome to attend conferences and receive regional newsletters but are unable to receive mentorship's, grants and some publications.
