SPEAKING FEE: $300 half day; $500 full day, anywhere in the greater St. Louis area. (Special rate if more than one school in a district schedules a presentation.) Will travel. Grade levels: Elementary school is best; but can work with middle-school students as well.

PRESENTATION: I have given presentations and workshops on a variety of topics, and always take into consideration the age level of my audience as well as multiple learning styles and abilities. I can do assemblies, grade-level presentations, mini-lessons for selected grades or classes on requested writing topics, or a combination of the above. As a former school counselor (I am certified K-8), I am comfortable working with teachers and students.
Other presentations/workshops: $75 per hour, with a two-hour minimum, anywhere in the greater St. Louis area. Outside the area, please contact the author.

That book's main character, "Punky," is patterned after my brother, Richard, who had Down's syndrome.
